Anse Takamaka is located between the Black Parrot Hotel and a small river, which divides it from Anse St. Sauveur. With 900 step long, it is a very long beach and has fine sand. Fishermen base their fishing equipment, baskets and boats along the coastline. A variety of bushes and trees shelter Anse Takamaka. A stone wall runs along part of the beach to protect the street from the sea. During low tide the water is very smooth and the sand very soft. Swimming is only recommended during high tide. | Anse Takamaka is located between the Black Parrot Hotel and a small river, which divides it from Anse St. Sauveur.
