A narrow, winding staircase leads down to the small private Anse Macquereau which lies at the foot of an amazing rock formation. Anse Macquereau is enclosed by a steep giant granite wall, reaching about 25 metres up into the sky. Except via the staircase provided by the resort, there is no other access to this beach. A cosy sunbed area is located on a slightly elevated granite plateau. This is an ideal place to view the ocean with four islands on the horizon and to listen to the waves tirelessly swashing the granite stones until high tide reaches the rock wall.
