Anse Lazio is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and is one of the most popular ones in the Seychelles. It has often been voted "best beach of the world" and is published in a large variety of books and tourist guides. Holiday makers who are searching for a solitary beach will not find privacy here. The 730 steps long Anse Lazio lies in the beautiful Baie Chevalier and is framed by large granite rocks on both ends. It is perfectly shaded by coconut palms arching towards the ocean and several Takamaka trees. The very fine sand beach experiences seasonal changes in sand movement. The Chevalier Bay Restaurant offers Creole food seven days a week.
