Anse Consolation is a very rocky beach with large coral formations along the coastline. During low tide there are three small sand pockets on this 279 steps long beach. Although snorkelling conditions are good at the last lagoon to the east, Anse Consolation is not a typical swimmers beach.

Anse Petite Consolation

Petite Consolation is situated in a small bay with only one house. A small staircase leads from the street to this 164 steps long beach. There are many granite rocks of all sizes along the beachline and the beach is sheltered by Takamaka trees. The islands of Cousine and Cousin can be seen on the horizon.
