Anse Bambous is the main hotel beach on Frégate Island. Enclosed by large granite stones at both ends, this very fine sand beach is about 260 steps long. For your leisure while reading or viewing the scenery there are several seating areas with tables. There are also sunchairs along the beach shaded by large white sun umbrellas along the beach which invite for relaxation. Although currents exist, swimming is not dangerous. An attentive life guard is present for your swimming pleasure. Along the beach behind Takamaka trees and coconut palms a staircase leads up to an infinity pool overlooking the ocean with the islands Praslin, La Digue, Félicité and Marianne on the distant horizon. The stairs lead further to the main restaurant and Pirate's Bar.

Pirate's Bar

The open-air Pirate's Bar serves light lunches and snacks, as well as a wide variety of delicious cocktails. Fruits and vegetables are grown on the island's own small plantation, providing fresh ingredients on a daily basis.
