Anse Citron and Anse Bateau are fine sand beaches with similar characteristics. Swimming during low tide is at both beaches impossible. The water is too shallow and the waterfloor too soft, even appearing muddy at some parts. Takamaka trees shelter Anse Citron and Anse Bateau from the nearby street. From the beaches the islands Cousine and Cousin are visible.
